Default Radiator hoses - which one?

So I needed to flush etc coolant and cooling system (hasn't been done for 165000km) and bought what I thought were correct top and bottom radiator hoses. Top one OK, but mechanic says lower one not correct. It is pretty much a straight hose with a cupla small curves. This was supplied via USA Jeep people which state it is correct one.

The top one currently on JK is very "C" shaped with several twists and turns etc... when I looked at parts diagrams on several sites, it rather looks like a TJ version bottom hose. Quadratec does not have a similar lookiing hose and even their MOPAR one is like a straighter hose with a couple of shallow bends. I am thinking maybe the design was changed.

Anyone can help please?

Rockauto would have sent you LHD hose.

Our Aussie delivered vehicles slightly different hose shapes in RHD.

Just do best with what you have otherwise the only place I’ve found RHD hoses for radiator and heater hoses in my TJ is Mackay Hoses.

Thanks for that info. Yes I think that the LHD hose is slightly shorter than the RHD one... don't know why USA supplier sent the wrong one... but wait... both have the same part #. BUT... one supplier does show a hose of the same shape as the one on my JKU but funny that it is only one supplier.. cost twice as much to post as for the item price tho. I rather suspect that the shape of the pipe was changed along production runs somewhere.
