JJ have about 4 1/2 lift in the rear.

I would have thought that the front shaft on a standard output shaft would have been long enough when you allow for the slip joint travel....

Yeah. I only went off what I have read. Really need to get down and do some measuring myself. Have been holding off doing that until I got another diff, but if it fits, will go for it.
Thinking now I want to do more touring type stuff, so may even come down an inch on the lift. Still have heaps of clearance for the 31s and even really they are too big legally.
I'll get the trailer done and see what happens.

I don't think that the shaft will be too short, are you using a standard rear shaft now?

Man they look big, we have the same model, same colour, same snorkel, same bullbar but boy they sure look different to my 30's!!!!!
I hope your not planning to drive it like that on the street????

Yep, standard shaft and shims. S'pose I have used full flex and nothing has fallen off. Good thinking.

The front shaft even when fully compressed is actually slightly longer than a rear shaft so when you take into account the slip joint I would expect that the length should be pretty close to right....
