finally did the toe set - ended up at 5/16" toe in (for now). also moved the top of the rear shockies outwards one setting on the JKS crossover (this crossover is fantastic - i highly recommend it!) . i started at the innermost setting to begin with but had a bit of roll during daily driving - its almost nil now with the monotubes. its driving much happier! fine tuning is so time consuming but the results are tremendous!
did 260,000 km service and general chech over. Done 35,000km's on the gas injection and all is going well. 17 lph Iam getting, so 340 to 350 km's per tank is good. I am on 31's and standard gearing so i could get better I think with 30's but who knows.
I will have to do a steering box adjustment and thats about it. The 44 i swapped in last year is doing well and it's good to know that wheel bearings are easy to do and dont stuff the axle anymore. It's the best swap you can do to your XJ i believe.

yes LEZ is my brother
Finished pulling the D35 out and put the D44 under it, spent about an hour or more getting it under there by myself.
Although these smaller dana's aren't that heavy its still a pain shuffling 100kg diffs around. Anyway, finally used three jacks to get the D44 up against the springs with the new spring perches in there and then adjusted the positioning and pinion angle with the diff taking the weight of the jeep and ran some weld to keep the mounts in place before I pull it out again and weld the mounts up properly. So it looks like one more day of work to complete it although it seems like my days of work are about 3 hours
