Default ZJ vs WJ
We are thinking about becoming a two jeep family. We currently have a TJ and have owned a XJ.

What I want to know is, is it worth paying the extra for say a 2000 WJ vs a 98/99 ZJ.?

I'm biased towards the WJ. My folks back home have a ZJ with the 5.2ltr. There is more aftermarket out there for the ZJ than the WJ but it's slowly catching up...The 4.7 petrol and the 2.7 diesel are both decent engines for the WJ...

Chris, just fyi the 2.7 :P only came out in March 2003, Andy's looking at 2000 model

mmmm......v8 WJ. I think it'd be worth the extra coin. Is it going to be taken offroad or more city wagon

More a touring wagon, my wife works about an hour west of Brisbane and drops me off on the way. Just had a good talk to Peter Foote and I think we will hold out for the WJ. Probably just a Laredo 6 though.
