i just some new d3s excite 6000 globes in my 2014 gc and im impressed.
Definitely brighter!!

That is a neat setup on the roof Timsarg. I carry a pod up there but would fit under. Where is it wired into exactly?

Good point about the housing limiting the light - will investigate. A mate of mine replaced his light bar on his Amarok by just going to LEDs - but the housing may be different.

LED's in a normal reflector housing are not only illegal but you will piss everyone off not only coming towards you but those in front that you are following due to scattered light pattern

A good read of the difference between HiD, Halogen and LeD headlight set ups may save many dollars, as its not all about the globe each has a different lens as well which really doesn't always work with the other and some in a different housing can cause a fire ...................... and read the warnings as HID can kill you.

Lightbar is the go. I fitted this 20 inch job behind the lower fascia and it works great.
