The axles are one offs from Avalanche/Poison Spider. The center sections are 2 1/2 ton geared at a standard 6.72 with lockers installed. Jack made the inner and outer axle shafts and the joints. The housing is full chrome moly. The pumpkin is made of 1/2" plate and the tubes are 4"OD 1/2" wall attached to the pumpkin with CNC machined billet bases. The ends are F-450 C's and balljoint knuckles.

Axle failure is a result of one of two things. inadequate parts for application or faulty parts.
Faulty material i think is more the cause of that failure.
