Working too hard

You will get a noticeable shimmy over bumps with that low a caster, and it also wont self centre very well coming out of a corner. On its own this will not cause DW, but the shimmies will stress all the bushes to the point that DW may start to show after a while. Mine is about 3.8 degrees with stock control arms and 69mm lift in the front. I do get a shimmy at speeds over 70km/hr when I hit a bump and steering is light, but still centres OK. Will be investing one of these days in adjustable lower control arms.

For the front you will need an adjustable track bar as you cant fit drop or lift brackets to it without altering the draglink angle as well - at 2 inches you cant do this.

For the rear, throw away with the ARB drop bracket and replace it with either a Poly or Terflex axle mounted bracket. The ARB in most cases will hit the side of the shock at full travel and weakens an already stressed mounting position by lengthening it.

My preference was for the Teraflex, as its a total bolt on solution and has 3 positions for varying heights. After wheeling on the weekend (first time since fitting it) I had no issues with it hitting anything with no bump stop extensions. I notice DBOR are now stocking some Teraflex gear - I would have much preferred to throw more money at Bill than someone else

ARB were adamant that their coils when properly chosen will give you a 50mm lift. Even with the extra weight you are still waiting on that is going to be way too high without spending more $$ in the steering (castor adjustment, and my favourite suggestion is an aftermarket tie rod).

I'd hazard a suggestion that the guys who fitted it have probably fitted springs from an old product guide. I would be taking it back and asking to explain. There's no way you will see more than 15mm spring sag/settling.

If everything is done up properly you don't need to be worried about death wobble just yet - you've got a few thousand KM until there's enough wear in the steering to allow it.

I've got 3.5 years and 70,000ks on my ARB and no issues with death wobble, have a slight dent in rear shock now that i'm running without a rear sway bar and have put rear sway bar links onto front, as i broke the standard front links after about 1.5-2 years mark. For its cost i'm happy with the ARB and got about 3-3.5 inches lift on the front and 3.5-4 inches at the rear.

i too have been told the "adamant ARB story of definate 50mm" The springs are the correct ones apparently they had to be manufactured only last week or so as they were out of stock. I'm happy enough with the lift, the Jeep is huge! Took it for a good drive tonight & drives like a dream. little light in the steering, but ride wise is stiffer & still very smooth compared to factory. Just means now i need to get the underside right. I'm happy enough to follow up with Bill when i have the money. Will front & rear track bars sort me out for a while? Is the terraflex bracket enough to not need an adjustable rod? It does not look like ARB even installed the panhard drop bracket mentioned... looks like its all stick bolted to factory holes.

if its the ARB panhard drop bracket I would leave it off.

Better off fitting the rear panhard (trackbar) lift bracket from Poly performance available from Double black off road which lifts the bar at the axle end, not drop the bar at the chassis end.
