Default PPM front track bar bracket vs JKS disconnects

Another PPM question for anyone that installed the front track bar relocation bracket + the high steer drag link + JKS disconnects.

Seems the relocation bracket takes over the disconnect link on one side & lifts it 2". I only have about 1" to adjust on my disconnects to accommodate UNLESS of course i set the sway bar up at like a 10deg angle rather than the slight angle suggested on the instructions. Anyone else had this issue?
I will be asking DBOR when i can get hold of Bill, but for those who have done so already feel free to let me know how you went.

Photos are also welcomed if the jobs been done

You should also have the relocation bracket for the bottom link post on the drivers side too to make the links the same length.

(Images linked from DBOR's web site and obviously for a LHD)

I have the Poly links on mine front and rear and found the rears were about 2in to long, so I bought a tap to suit and simply cut 2in off the tube and continued the thread down the tube further.

Not sure if you can do the same with the JKS ones, but they look to be a similar constuction.

Correct you are. That other piece was hiding in the packaging. Thanks mate. I guess I'll just have to shorten them as much as possible and have the sway bar on a bit more of an angle or... Swap with someone who needs longer disconnects if it comes to it.

Sway bar on a bit more of an angle wont be an issue for the short term at least. How much of an angle will it end up on? Mine sits about 30mm higher at the link end to the bush end at rest (when comparing it to the frame). Ideally the sway bar ends should be parallel to the ground and at right angles to the links for ideal onroad operation.

Only reason I modified the rears was they were fouling on the hard brake lines.

Not sure on the angle as i haven't pulled things off yet. Mine is sitting almost parallel say 2deg up but from what i'm told i can get away with up to 10deg so i may just be ok..

You should have no issue whatsoever, I ran mine with JKS disconnects. Just adjust the length on the passenger side as it will be shorter.

Before anyone goes cutting and tapping links on a Rubicon just make sure that the links wont invert at full droop. Manual disconects obviously arent affected.
