2.5 TD oil pressure sensor

I was thinking of drilling and tapping the bolt but I'm not sure if the bolt is hardened still or not .

Try running a file or hacksaw blade on it. You will soon know.

Already bought the sandwich adapter . Need a deep socket now to fit it up .
Always the case , plenty of tools but the one I've need now just don't have it .

Just finished to fit new oil pressure install . I've settled for the oil filter sandwich adapter and oil pressure switch rather the variable resistance sensor .
It was a bit more wiring needed due the fact that oil pressure switch has NC contact therefore had to use a relay than feed the ground trough the relay NC contacts in series with a 4,7 Kohm to the gauge signal wire .
It is basicaly a "idiot light" setup but instead of light I still used the existing gauge as an indicator of oil pressure ok .
For some reason the oil switch that have NO contacts are rare and way to expensive $60 to $180 compared with the one with NC contacts $14 .
