Maybe not so much on this forum, but there'd probably be some interest in an alloy bar. Styling would be particularly key in this sector though, and getting it out there to the target market.

I asked a guy at work if his AEV hood made much difference to temperatures and he said, "I don't really know, I just bought it cos it looks cool." I miss disposable income.

I'll be waiting for this bar. As far as recovery points go. As long as they bolt thru the main bar with possibly a spreader plate behind to spread the load I don't think there'd be an issue.

You all need to do some more research. Have a look at a company called Rock Slide Engineering. I have one of their front bars and they blend in well with the front flares etc. Only cost $ 1550 delivered to my front door. They also do a stubby bar as well as sliders and rear bars.

No you missed the point

YankeeDave is offering a front bar alternative which will be fully compliant (and tested as such) to all Australian regulations.

Rock slide engineering can't do that.

Pick me and a heap of other guys like me. Some protection and somewhere to hang some driving lights.

It is impossible to find a nudge/light bar on which to hang some lights off which is a straight bolt on fit to the 2012 JKU off the shelf without having to do some mods.

are you after something that replaces the factory bumper or just a nudge bar over the picnic bench?
