Default SYE for Xj

Ok so we have a 98 XJ petrol automatic, with the stock D35 and it has about 4 inches of lift, it has come time to buy a slip yoke eliminator and drive shaft, the question is where do i get them from and how much, do i have to buy a new drive shaft or can i get it lengthened,

i know this thread has probably been done a million times but it is easier just to ask again and get a straight answer

oh i also live on Brisbane south side any one around that area who sell them

You cant use your old driveshaft as a SYE means you have removed the slip yoke from the back of the transfercase. A whole new drive shaft needs not only to be longer, but have its own slip yoke now as the old one is no longer there!
See my write up to understand better.

Yep call Wooders for that and freight to you will be very competitive (and usually an overnight service).

I chose to get a M.I.T SYE as it is the only one that uses a proper Spicer yoke. The Tom Woods is the next best.

Default sye

SYE is the best long term remedy as i am waitin on 1 myself. Have u already tried lowering your transfer case cos some xj's differ slightly between one another and sometimes u can get away with it! i know of guys on a 5.5" lift with a lowered transfer case. Strange but true.
Should cost u a lil over $800AUS approx (thats incl sye and driveshaft) and ull save even more if u install it yourself. Yes WOODERS is the guy u should be speaking to. All the best, u have a great lookin rig.
