It's not rare or collectable, let's face it, you could build one from all the parts that are available.

Be heaps of fun beatin on it, that's what they were designed for.

I say beat on the bitch!

i agree! i was pricing up building one of these from scratch!!

only about 8k US. for the body, less the grill....
add a custom chassis and a v8, atlas transfer, f&r d60s,37"s.....
all up around the 50k mark.

anyhow if i had the coin to buy this one i would!
and thrash it offroad as often as possible!!!

ok.... no way on gods green earth would you beat this thing. Wheel it.... HELL YES, but with respect and dignity (dry days, c grade, plenty of bypasses). It has been lovingly restored to its current condition, it is almost a work of bloody art.

I have no problem with buying a CJ and building it to crawl, abuse and beat on but not this one. I took my new TJ and thrashed the crap out of it, its modern, its replaceable its not unique and the talentless hacks on the line that built it put nothing into it. On the other hand this one has had the love and the $$ put at it... to beat on her is not right.....

I would love it, probably hate the engine though but put a trailer on it and get fence posts from down the paddock it would be great, need 4x4 to get back up the hill, then on Anzac Day and Long Tan Day put the medals on ,a few other old coots in it and go for a parade.
Way to Go.
