Default WK2 Diesel 3" Exhaust

I'm looking at getting a 3" Exhaust & Tune in the next couple of Months. Does anybody have any vids of their exhaust as I'm interested in difference in exhaust note to the standard exhaust.

What area do you live?

Cheers, Craig

I have had my Rear resonators deleted with nice big 4" tips installed. So effectively I now have no mufflers other than cat and DPF and there is no noise...deleting the rears made no sound difference (which I knew it wouldn't) but a fair bit of weight was reduced and the tips look great. So I have no doubt a catback may give a handful of hp but don't do it for sound...

3 inch straight through with 4 inch tips. Sounds good.

The exhaust does give it a nice note and a bit of a deep rumble sound at freeway speeds.

What does make a huge difference to sound is deleting the DPF. Triples the noise factor.
I found it a bit too loud on the first drive, but well and truly used to it by now.

The younger dudes that work for me love the note! 😁

Cheers, Craig

Hi,

Had a Taipan 3 inch Vortex XP Exhaust installed on our 200 Cruiser recently.

Very nice low tone, without being loud.

Like the look too - prefer this one to the Beaudesert one we had on the Paj.

BTW, the Jeep is still purring along too fellas! Tows the boat very nicely!

Cheers,
Sally

Had the Murchison 3” put on Feb2016 very little difference in noise. Been waiting for SWMBO to say something- but nothing 😁. Occasionally some random will ask if it a standard exhaust so there must be a slight note to it. Just don’t notice it from inside
