Looks good mate. When does she get to go out again? You going to be at the Jambo?

Good to see making progress Tonka. Look forward to seeing it in action at Jambo.
If you check the down south thread you'll see your old highmount getting used too....

So I received my 40m 8mm Amsteel Blue (In Army Green) Rope for the TJ, Tigerz11 Solenoid and got around to wiring it all up. Picked the rope up from OKOffroad in the USA. I have used Amsteel Blue on my last vehicle and never faulted it.

I am running an incab winch switch, (on/off) and a momentary (in/off/out) switch.
All nice and neat silver toggles on the dash on the blank under the stereo.

Have monted the solenoid just infront of the fuse box under the hood, up nice and high, out of harms way.

I also extended the breather on the gearbox (which doesnt have a breather line) and joined it to the transfer breather line, and extended it up to the firewall.

Went for a solo mission this afternoon to Bunyip State Park to test it all out. Got stuck belly up on one of the badly rutted sections and tested out the winch, and all worked without a problem!

I will be up for new tyres soon, and 35's are on the cards, I am only running 2.5"-3" lift, so will have to extend the bump stops, so any help there would be great.

Some pics from todays solo mission, (No action photos for obvious reasons)...
