Must have been the weekend for woodwork

Having seen peoples full covers for the boot in the JKU - thought half of it would be ideal as a shelf in the back as my wife is a sales rep and carries a lot of boxes around all the time....

Will carpet it once I'm 100% happy with it - just had a quick coat of matt black for now...
Cut so it just fits in and out with the rear seats down, and screwed to the angle which is bolted using the standard hardtop to body bolts. Will get a better piece of angle to reinforce it along the front which should tidy it up a bit too.

Also got my daughter into training putting a coat of wax on

Fitted a Teraflex HD Hinged Carrier and Spare Tyre Mount Kit. Not hard to fit at all, other than getting the damn torx bolts out in the first place.

Was impressed with the quality, not just of the parts themselves but even of the packaging. Might sound silly but when you see how much thought went into the packaging then it gives you even more faith in the product itself.

With it fitted up the tailgate feels far more rigid. It closes solidly rather rattling as it did before. Not a cheap bit of kit but definitely well built.

Fitted Trek Armor seat covers. These things are seriously tough. Incredibly well made and fit like a glove. Really impressed with them. Thanks Bill at DBOR!

installed a dbor bullbar today which a mate sold me. pretty happy with it, really easy to install, just need to fix my driving light loom so i can reinstall them on the hoop. everyone think upside down or above the hoop?

then i just need to get a winch, maybe even next pay week i might splurge on one, the runva 9500 Q off uneek with our 10% ajor discount is looking pretty darn tempting! if those specs are correct then it should be pretty quick compared to most other low mounts.

edit: surprisingly enough the car actually seems to handle a little bit better now with the front bar on. im guessing the extra weight has brought the nose down a bit because i previously had 4.5" lift front 3.5" rear and only a rear trackbar bracket. so may have centred the axle a little bit, can't really htink about what else would cause it.
