Nooiicce one there.

Not ideal on a tow-hitch, but does the Tyre Trek by TJM work on KKs?

I like it Zombie, do you know what it's worth? I was thinking one jerry can and a spare, but 2 cans and a high lift jack is even better. I know it'd be heavy but most tow bars are designed to handle a few hundred kilos down pressure and those yanks love hanging stuff off them too. I'm thinking it'd be even better with a bull bar & winch to help keep the front tyres on the ground...

And going off the numbers that he Jackup'd has given us, as long as you equalise you are reasonably safe for a snatch (as safe as any other recovery is)

Yankee Dave your thoughts?
I think it's done pretty good. Just needs to be shot blasted and powder coated to get rid of the rust.

I'd probably add a few gussets where it mounts, but I dont see this design having any problems. Also with recovery, with an equilising strap/chain this set up is fine.

well done

Hi, Dave. Where would you suggest for the extra gussets? If I'm going to get the thing powder coated (seems like a good idea) then now would be the time to make some improvements.

I have to agree with btalyor, though. That red South African (?) KK is a beautiful machine. Next time, maybe....

Found this the other day on Lost Jeeps. It's a slightly different idea, attaching to the tow bar mounts but leaving the tow bar in place. This would be great for those running bigger wheels.
