Try www.pickles.com.au. click on vehicles and search jeep... you can even bid online. I have bought cars from the other side of the country. Have bought 12 cars at auction. Keep them for a couple of years, then sell them for what you bought it for.. If you go to www.redbook.com.au and do a search of the car you want, the 'Trade price' is what it would roughly go for at the auction. Sometimes cheaper, especially if it's a Jeep as Dealers don't want them...

There is some great value out there......but don't be frightened by high mileage. When the '97 pre update I had destroyed a piston (365,000......cost $500 to buy), I bought a motor for $500 with 3 months warranty, from a wrecker. Made it a pretty cheap car.

My current '99 owes me $4000 with new tyres, 12 months reg........& a free 140,000k engine for my Wrangler.

Keep looking, and think smart.......

good buying blu!! also don't be sucked in by low milage. mine had less than 200000, and had to do heaps to get it to finally go right, wasn't serviced properly. done by westside 4x4 which i thought would have looked after it? good luck.
