bought an autometer one from rocket.
A bit exxy but its close to the factory guages in terms of appearance and I have used autometer guages on a lot of my other cars/toys and never had any problems.
I prefer to do it once and have piece of mind.

I'll probablly mount it in the front of the transfer lever, not the best for our RHD but it looks neat. Will see how I go.

I just got an el-cheapo from Autobarn. I'll decide at a later date whether to keep it or not. I want to see what my trans does in different situations. If its not too wild in variation or temp I'll probably lose it.

Hey Nakkas, Love the gauge. I put mine in the exact same spot. Best place for it I reckoned.

you guys just use a regular mounting cup and drill it into the console? Any more day pics?

That's it BS. You can then run the wires directly under the dash from this position. Makes it look like a real neat job when finished.
