Yup. The first two changes I'm making are that and recovery hooks... Would not be good form to have my new plates ripped off the first time I'm offroad...

I was about to order a plate relocation bracket from the us to go under the tailight, but it looks like our Vic plates will be too long! Can anyone confirm how much bigger a vic plate is to a US plate? Either that, or I get a 4 letter personalised plate that will be small, and fit perfectly.

Also, when the bar is fitted, what the hell is done? Are people cutting off the overhang of the bumper where the stock plate sits or what? Anyone have a photo looking at the towbar head on??

You will have to get a US size plate to fit the plate holder. In queensland you can order plates US size if you want - i have all mine this way. The Aussie plates wont fit.

when they fit the bar they use an angle grinder to cut down the extra plastic! thats it! looks sh*t.........

the new jk number plate will have an option to be mounted on the spare.

There will be a bracket that goes behind the spare and holds a 3mm plate which has 2 lights on it.

it should be ready soon.
