For those that remember I finally got Brads/Glidos old Black Xj back from the dead and drove it for the first time today. Thats after new motor, new gas tank, new alternator and finally after FOUR attempts at sealing the oil pan. To eventually seal it we (Mr Wooders and I... Thanks Dave) had to use a press to flatten the mounting holes where they had previously pulled through. I then had to recoil 7 out of the 19 screw holes caused by afore mentioned OVER tightening to finally get a seal. Knock on wood it will be OK to drive down to Braidwood tomorrow for work.

Spotties ... If they are fitted ... have to work - and correctly.

They hate having to pass the RWC if you remove them from the vehicle at the inspection point too

Door Seal ... maybe babies can fall through the gaps ????

Hoodlining can fall and obstruct your vision apparently - or suffocate babies maybe ??? ...

Yeah, well I've been told to not worry about that stuff now.The guy did the roady thought I was selling it not keeping it.But I've got a new door seal coming this week and I'll take off the spotties coz they have no globes and I don't know what I want to do with them yet anyways

My main concerns are the oil leaks, bushes and engine mounts.Get them done and I will hopefully have it on the road for my birthday
