Default Hard Top - Roof rack mounts

Hi guys,

This is probably more of a trivial thread but none the less, I'm scratching my head trying to work out where the mounts go on the hard top.

Do they go through the roof & bolted down?

I can't see any channels in the roof like on a normal roof.

I admit that I haven't gone as far as speaking to a roof rack company as yet, I wanted to go in with a bit more knowledge so they didn't make me drill my roof if it wasn't necessary.

Any help would be nice, any photos would be fantastic.

Only got the 1 pic so far with the roof on, haven't had it very long.

Thanks in advance for your help!

It's a smittybilt xrc bar. Wasn't cheap but gets attention.

Picked it up through JeepKonnection in Hallam. Speak to Andrew, he'll look after you.

Not sure but thinking the Thule or Rola

Rola don't seem to have one for a hard 97-06 model TJ hard top but this is the Thule one I'm looking at as an option
