just makes me smile!!!! it otherwise looks like a REALLY nice and REALLY tidy lookign rig though (amazing)
While we've since had a post from the owner explaining the situation, plenty of people do slap lots of offroad goodies on their vehicles for looks only.

FJ Cruiser owners seem to be particularly prone to this, but not alone in this - my former neighbour had a Territory with a winch, lots of lights as well as a high lift jack, spare tyre, a set of maxtrax and shovel on the roof rack.

Stock road tyres. Always shiny and clean. Can Territories even manage anything more than roughish forest tracks?

Be hard to prove it has or has not ever been used offroad - but to me a lot of the components (that we can see in the images) that i would expect to see show signs of offroad abuse are clear...
So even if it had been used "off-road" it would been so mild it probably doesn't mater.

Although I dont have to clarify my statements. In the time ive owned it, its basically been up on stands, as the original front diff was destroyed due to a locked vc in the transfer case, at the same time the rear diff was swapped to a lsd, and the transfer case was also replaced. So for the 6months I had an interest in the jeep I was getting the front diff rebuilt, with the arb air locker straight up as it was on the cards regardless, it also copped newer stronger axles from the states, and new hubs, obviously this being a slow process, I proceeded to fit the bar, winch, lights, uhf and aerial, along with the compressor, snorkel and lift...

Hopefully now this paints a pretty picture for everyone in doubt as to it not being offroad.
