I have been asking this question a number of times to dealers and people in the know.

All have come back and said there is no plains to sell the Rubicon with a TD motor in Australia. What bugs me is that the Rubi is sold in Europe with a TD motor.

you get whatever chrysler australia choose to import. write to them and ask for the diesel rubicon. if there is enough demand they would probably import it.

If they make right hand versions (pomy) just import a second hand one, by the time u pay taxes and rego would probably only be the cost of a new petrol rubi anyway.

You would need to live in the UK for 12 months for it to qualify as a personal import

They don't - according to their site you can only get the Rubicon in petrol - and auto only too!!

And their diesel Ulimiteds have a towing capacity of 3500kg's - ours say 2300kg's don't they?
