Has anyone put a 2nd battery under the hood in a ZJ? I am wanting to put 2nd battery in but not much room under there and trying not to have to mount in the back! Any help appreciated
Not an expert on the ZJ but there are a couple of write ups on here for the WJ involving swapping out to twin Optimas to fit them in the same spot as the original battery but rotated 90 degrees. Custom tray required as well of course.
Throw the tape measure around and you'll soon see if it's doable.

I got a sweater for Chrissy, nothing wrong with that except I was hoping for a moaner or a screamer.
Was looking to do the same to my Zj but i settled with 1 720cca sits 5mm either side of fender and radiator top hose. Just trimmed one edge of the tub it sits in.
Couldnt see any easy way to fit dual in.
