Hoping that someone might be able to help out with an issue that has recently started on my 2015 Laredo Diesel.

I have the recall letter and it’s booked in next week.

My keep this week refused to start, it was completely dead, nothing when you opened doors, nothing when you pressed the start button.

I hooked up my jump pack, as the vehicle had not been driven in 3 weeks, and l thought it may have just gone flat, but a load test showed the battery was ok.

Once the jump pack was hooked up, the vehicle appeared to have power, but it asked me to press the clutch in to start (its an Auto) so that was strange.

It started when l pressed the brake. The strange this is that when l started to drive the vehicle, as l pressed the accelerator l felt a strange vibration from the rear diff region, but l speed up, it went away. When l slowly drive off from lights it’s there, but if l drive off a light more harder, there’s nothing.

The vehicle has also thrown up the service 4wd warning when just driving down the road twice, but it has cleared itself minutes later.

That’s only since the issue with the no power occurred.

The car has also felt like the injectors are blocked, since this happened as well a couple of times.

I am wondering if these issues could all be related to the recall?

Any help would be appreciated.

If the fly wheel delaminates it stops, no go anywhere so I doubt its that.
Does sound like the old alternator/battery fail, since it sat for 3 weeks doing nothing, possibly has the original battery fitted and may not have been locked either, I would be removing or at least disconnecting battery and hooking up a decent multi stage AGM capable charger to the battery and giving it a tickle overnight, this will give the battery a proper charge, better than a long drive would, the charger will show, usually, if the battery is stuffed or not, if Ok and it fails again after a couple of days then it could be the alternator, get a sparky to load test battery and put a meter on the power station to see if its cactus...
If the battery and alternator check out OK then good chance the TCM is having a hissy as they seem to cause all manner of problems and All Grand is the go..
Stay away from a dealer.
