Default New guy looking for sway bar upgrade

Hi guys

I just purchased a 2004 GC larado CRD. So far I am really enjoying it. Only thing I've noticed to date is the body roll. Since I am coming from a late model SS commodore it's taking a bit to get to used to. Having said that I've read on WJJEEPS.com about rear sway bar upgrades kits in the US that do a lot to reduce the body roll. Had a quick chat with GSA and they couldn't help me. Anybody know any after market rear sway bars available in Oz for the WG?

p.s CRD's rock. The fuel economy even when towing is unbelievable

Don't know where to get one but adding a stiffer rear sway bar will decrease your offroad abilities if you're that way inclined

mhd,
Whiteline make replacement swaybars for GC's up to 2005 model...could be worth a try mate. Just click on the on-line parts catalogue button & select jeep.

Thanks guys. I take it the sway bar will limit some travel when at extreme range of moment being stiffer and make traction harder to to get. Pretty timid off road so that may not be to bad. Anyone know the difference between adjustable blades and standard. Whiteline offer both, but no clue as to what adjustable blades are.

Just my two cents here but I'm a little leery of Whiteline's build quality...I've seen two components on (albeit XJs) two Jeeps fail and one of those at high speed that could have been really bad but luckily they got it stopped without injury...
