A moderate suspension lift, stiffer springs (maybe even Polyair) and bigger tyres will fix that. I never use my back seat but even carefully packed I can't get enough in to go on a serious camping trip without towing (which I hate). So as far as I'm concerned it'd be 15 inches longer cargo space than I have now.

I think this would increase the volume of sales for Jeep bigtime in Australia

Australian market has never been a big swb market and this would compete very well with the landrover 110 or troopy

They were smart and didnt make a rear over hang like the old CJ8's so with a decent lift and wheels I think this thing would kick butt

I could even see me selling the CJ if this is confirmed to Australia

2004 Jeep Wranger Unlimited
Engine: 4.0-liter PowerTech I-6
Power: 190 hp @ 4,600 rpm
Torque: 235 lb.-ft. @ 3,200 rpm
Wheelbase: 103.4 inches
What the automaker says: "While maintaining its legendary 4x4 Jeep capability, the new Jeep Wrangler Unlimited offers more refined, on-road comfort and quietness because of its longer 103-inch wheelbase, which includes an additional 10 inches compared with the original Wrangler."

I thought what made the Wrangler so good offroad was the fact it was SWB? Won't this just make it easier to get hung up on stuff?

Should fix the driveshaft problems, too. I'd just transfer my Teralow, Lock Right, bullbar and lights and Bob's your uncle.

Maybe the Rural Fire Service will buy a few. You could put a small tank in the back.
