Default Extractors/Exhaust setup opinions

I'm looking to replace my exhaust system with a set of extractors and custom exhaust in the next week or two to fix some problems with my exhaust manifold, and also re-route the exhaust for some future long arm changes.

What I'm curious is what setups have worked for you guys? I've heard Wiz and Craig's setups and they sound pretty good. What have you guys got?

I was considering Hurricane extractors, and a 2 1/2" straight through system after that. Any comments?

Thanks

I got a 2.5" straight through on my XJ and am loving it. Had to fix the leaking exhaust problem, and decided to go the whole way. Its not too loud, can still here my CD player, but when you put your foot down, at least it sounds like a straight 6 now!! and not some 2 stroke...

Still seems to chew just as fast, but at least it purrs along, and when I want to put foot down, it goes. Before it just used to make a louder noise, and not do anything.

Just check out the extractors before you buy - I have seen some that bolt to the exhust and hang below the sump (and therefore get squashed), mine are tucked well away, but i couldn't tell you what brand, thay were on my TJ when I bought it. Sounds good though!

Mines only a 2.5"(?) mandrel bent with a teeny resonator
...should have gone stainless too

only problem i can see with it , is that it uses more fuel ...
or is that cause it gets redlined now

Liverpool Exhaust did the setup too

Why do you think you should have got stainless wiz? Is it rusting?

How much for your setup if you don't mind me asking? I've heard of a couple of guys that have gotten their stuff from Liverpool Exhausts.
