Ok here's some more pics of it in action doing what it's supposed to do. These photos are after i was out all day with it like this. The rear window (with the rear window bar still attached) and the two side windows are stored in the roof in the supplied layered windoe protection bag that is concealed within the roof:
There are several things i didn't expect:
1) The website is completely wrong. There are no "H" cutouts in the side windows and you have to place them and fold the corners a bit as best you can.
2) The rear straps look like they will slide off if you're travelling too fast or in heavy winds. The same can be said for the front of the top which clips into the door surrounds however i went to 90klm/hr today several times while driving around and this did not happen.
3) There is a zipper which holds the right side window on. When the window is stored above that zipper rattles and carries on right above your head. I just slid it towards the back a bit and didn't bother me as much.
4) In "safari top" mode, the rear doesn't fully cover rear passenger's heads as much as a bestop safari top does. Due to the weight/tautness from the windows when they're in the roof the rear does not flap at all. My safari top flaps around like it's mad in the rear but this top has no flapping at speed.
With the top on,
1) the baby seat on the rear seat touches and pushes the rear window out a bit - but it's a fastback so i'm ok with it
2) It much more water resistant than the factory top
3) It's quieter
4) It flaps MUCH less
I will post up some more pics in the coming days on installation and storage
