Bought a nice little storage set last night with clip in boxes. Should bolt straight in. Will fit it up tomorrow

Is this similar to the likes of what repair vans (mobile service vans etc.) carry?

I think so, you also see them in some shops that sell lots of small parts.

It's a metal backboard full of slots, then there are all different sized containers that lock into the slots wherever you want them.

They have a tab on the rear that locks them in.

I would, for the purpose of transportation, still ensure that the base of the containers is on a shelf and locked in at the rear via the metal back board.

Stuff like this is good, they have an outlet in Sydney... http://www.caddystorage.com.au/index...at&subcatid=92

I take it you aren't going to consider my 'bidet' advice . (you'll be sorry)

Those Caddy systems look pretty neat! I might look at bolting in some thin horizontal bars at the back of the containers to ensure they don't pop out of the backboard maybe.

Bidet is oh so tempting but I'll have to resist

Same - problem is finding somewhere that offers it....so in the meantime it's just practice birdpoops on every scrap of metal I can find.....
Anyhows the truck makes WAY more sense than trailoring everwhere.
Suggestions/thoughts:
Welder - not sure what sized generator you'd need to fire up that 200amp mig - might be worth just getting a small cheapie to keep in the truck for feild repairs which would mean a smaller generator would be ok.....
Parts washer - even a small one could be useful.
Anchor point in the floor suitable to winch the buggy up in the event it's not driveable.
Crane/hoist - very useful for oh so many things.....
Fluid waste contatiners....
Computer.
