Default Adding a reversing light to my JK

G'day.

I have just purchased a 18w 12Vdc LED light.
Just would like to know if it is possible to wire this directly to the Reverse light circuit without needing a relay.

Would this cause problems?
I suppose these are also controlled by the car's computer.

As this is LED, it will only draw 1.5 amps,

The standard reverse lights are O.K but they do are not the best for seeing with.

I cant see it being any problem as the load wont be much different to the stock globes.

It wont do any damage to try, and if it does strange things then you could run a relay for it.

Thanks.

Sounds like there should be no issues.
May I should stick an AMP meter in series just to be sure.

Hey Litestorm

Is there a discount for us, or any group buys in the works?
