Scarps like any car they all have their faults u just have to know how to manage them..
On paper the Navara should go just as hard as the GC be interesting to know of translates in real life.

Have to agree with Yankee Dave here, Backwards step in terms of off road ability and certainly no Vic high country conqueror being the land barge that it is. WK2 wheel base - 2915mm and overall length 4821mm and the D40 wheel base 3198mm and overall length 5573mm. Great tow/touring rig though.

Sometime down the track I'll add a dual battery kit and maybe a snorkel.
scarps,
it sounds like you have done a lot of home work. They are a few of them up this way on farms & they do plenty of hard work. Its probably not the greatest place to tell everyone on here. If I was you, I would plan on keeping it for between 2 & 3 years & then change over to who knows what. With the extras you list, I suspect it will be a bit stronger. I am aware of others who have upgraded the frame & tow bar mounting area. See how you go.
You will be more limited with where you go because of the camper on the back than by the ability of the Nissan.
Good Luck with it!

Scarps sounds good, if u are doing high country with river crossings I would go the snork sooner rather that later.
