Default Provent on CRD.

Anyone running a Provent?

I would love to see some installation pics, it's on my shortlist of jobs.

Rob.

Provent in 2010 WH for last 80000ks. Just back from 4500 klm trip nth ,central Qld
running in 30 +c temps and towing at 100-105 sometimes 115 to pass the Victorians! Emptied 300 mill out of Provent in 4 weeks of pretty hard driving.I have the Provent on rear inner front guard panel behind the coolant tank.Used oil resistant hoses plus put in stainless springs in hoses where sharper bends needed to stop crushing.

You will find some pic installs using search

Here's one example for the WH =>

I just purchased one for the Commander CRD & will install in the coming days/weeks - looks like I need to move a things around on the firewall first though as both sides have something already there (DPChip & Water Watch Alarm) making room a little scarce.

bbmick - that link is a great read! And I have to apologise for my bone laziness in regards to not doing the search myself. I will gain some solace from the fact this is a recurring issue for CRD owners, and resurrecting the thread may help others get motivated.

You have given me a plan to work to now, so I best go pop the hood and suss out the spot near the brake booster that I will fit it.

Cheers,

Rob.
