Default Growling/rumbling in 4wd

Hey all,

Getting a groan from my jeep when in 4wd, only does it under acceleration. The unis in the shaft are near new, and it makes a high pitch buzzing/grind when foot is flat in 4wd (can be 4low, hi or part time), and the noise is heinous when in 4part time in the wet at about 60kmh.
Tcase or front diff?

Should I drop the shaft and see if it still does it? It is load based so idk if it'll still be prevalent when you take the shaft out...

Cheers

Take the front shaft out and see if it goes away. Do not use full time 4WD when shaft is out because the centre diff won;t really like it. XJ's can make that noise if the front shaft doesn't get a straight shot into the pinion.

Lulu it makes it under load only.

Ripped the shaft out today, the centre ball felt fucked. Gave it a quick grease (then ran out) so I may pick up another shaft tomorrow morning. The noise went away with no shaft. Checked my diff fluid. Was clean looking and full. Same with TC. no play in pinion or output shaft bearing on TC (or minimal, due to design)
