Post 4.0L straight 6 mods

What have you gotten out of your 4.0? Would love to see whats been done to this engine.

head off and valve job , ports cleaned ,and face skimmed for trueness
extractors and full length 2.5 inch exhaust
late model "horse shoe" inlet manifold
hi-performance 8mm spark plug wires
screamen demon coil
throttle body spacer
factory mechanical fan delete, and twin electrics fitted
IAC moved to air box.
good quality syn. oil at 10k intervals

I am a subscriber to the adage "if it ain't broke don't fix it".
These 4.0L pushrod sixes are generally a pretty reliable workhorse engine and left to their own devices and correctly serviced give a long life (up to 1/2 a million km's) without much serious attention. Whilst they will not set the world on fire for wild hp or deliver prius type fuel usage they are pretty reasonable at lugging their fat grand cherokee's around and do a reasonable job towing as well, delivering acceptable economy whilst doing it.

4.7 Stroker- 258crank and dished pistons
Up sized injectors
S/S extractors
Pod filter and cold air intake
Triple thermo fan and alloy radiator.
