You would think so, but in practice I didn't notice any of those negative traits.

if you look closely you can see a black line going straight down underneath the two rear antennas . I ran the harness for the lightbar around the roofrack and then i ran all three cables in the rubber groimmet where the powered tailgate cables go . Nice and neat and have had no issues

You Can get HID globes on Ebay at around $150 a pair for genuine OSRAM globes,

I had to replace my Left front globe and got a pair of Genuine Osram PK32d-2 66140CLC D1S 4300K globes on Ebay
from an AUS east coast seller for about $150, delivery only took 1 week to Mandurah WA area.

Just recently purchased a 5mm thick aluminium number plate Light mount bracket at super cheap for $50.00
to mount my driving lights on as i do not not have a bully or nudge bar to mount them on.

Now i just have to find the right lights for my WK2,
have been looking at going for a set of H3 Halogen lights as they have a good clean reflector for solid spot beam,
and use either 130 watt H3 globes or convert them to LED,
any suggestions on that ?

For amp draw, robustness, usable light, and price point, it's hard to go past a light bar these days. Likewise, LED spots are damn impressive.

Stedi make a great range of products that offer great performance and quality for the price.

Hi Troutman,

I like what you have going on here, what did you mount the bar to, or did you make brackets?
Like many I have found the oem lights to be a little bit scared of the dark.
