Default WK2 - 3.6ltr Exhaust Mod

Hi all

First post for me - I have recently bought a 2018 GC Limited 3.6ltr petrol. I'm in the process of personalising it with lowering springs, SRT wheels and Chief rails and backbar protection, I would like to change the exhaust to improve performance, fuel economy but mainly looks and sound. Can anybody help with some advice from past experience with this modification, I've read a bit and some people say don't bother but I'm just looking for subtle differences, What do you think

Cheers all.....Shane2

Everything I’ve read is that the pentastar doesn’t sound great with an exhaust and the performance gain is negligible

I wouldn’t bother with the exhaust too much. It’s like a Commodore V6 owner trying to sound like an SS V8 - not going to happen.

I added a Magnaflow catback with twin pipes, it sounds way better and as close to a V8 as possible. I also have a Hemifever tune on the way.

you will never get a v6 to sound even remotely close to a v8.
