Default Service Exhaust Immediately

Interesting issue popped up the other day.
On the way to work, it sounded like I'd put a pod filter on, could hear the turbo whistling, then the error "service Exhaust Immediately, visit dealer now"
Checked codes when i got home, p2002, full dpf apparently.
Ran the regen through Alpha, took about 10 mins, revved up to 3k, smelled bad, haha.
Thought all was good, next morning, same issue, tried to run regen again last night, took about 30 seconds, next time it just gives "conditions not met" so maybe it's empty.
Hmm, what's the whistle from, doesn't seem to be any cracks or loose fittings from what I can see.
2012 diesel Overland. Cheers.

The Service Exhaust issue was corrected with the forced regen....experience speaking....the turbo whistle has to relate to a leak or blockage(ie: boost has nowhere to go and has found an 'easy path')....if you can...get a smoke machine n block off the inlet hose on the engine intake pipe....then jam the smoker into the turbo outlet pipe...anywhere will do...smoke will exit the 'weak point'...can check all the hoses, pipes, jionts n clamps first......give me a buzz if u want me to talk you through it....cheers

Yeah, I was thinking it was a split somewhere, I can't seem to find one though.
I'll ferret around a bit more later.
It still builds boost fine and goes like a rocket, until it throws the error, then it's a little sluggish.

Soapy water in a spray pack...like checking gas fittings....will work just as well....its just a bugger to get to all the bits and see whats 'bubbling'

Have a look at that stupid plastic turbo muffler it could be cracked or a clamp has sh*t itself, one of my clamps let go and we had the whistle, peddle down and Woooowooooooo .... I have a score mark from the early days on one of my hoses from the stupid engine cover.

I deleted that pos turbo muffler years ago when I first got the car. Got a straight pipe in there.
I'll get out there with the soapy water later. Hoses are an oily mess though, lots of oil seeping through. Might need to replace the whole shooting match

I thought you had, probably the weeping is the cause, pull hose ff clean up and refit clamp, worked for me.............. I did have the dash light up and engine drop off on another wagon, packed it as I thought the turbo had blown with the van on the back on a big hill, luckily panic abated as just blew a hose off, some stupid spanned man didn't tighten it up properly...............
