Ive given up on Jeep Benn0 and I've almost given up on the car. Its pretty bad when you get used to not being able to drive your own car cos its in the workshop being UN FIXED by the people that warrant the bloody thing...I am also firmly convinced that they genuinely dont give a $hit. It is just mind boggling that this can happen these days. Words fail me

I read some stuff on the American forum recently and owners there are experiencing the same "don't care" attitude with FCA and dealers. I saw one thread where FCA had responded directly to a post in a positive vein, which indicates they do look at the forum, but it may be that they're just dishing out platitudes rather than action. As for FCA Oz, it seems the current corporate policy is "keep silent and carry on (doing nothing)".

The more I get used to the Jeep environment the more I realise you have to depend on independent suppliers and workshops to keep what is otherwise a mostly great car on the road. I've found US Parts based in QLD are good, and when servicing is due I've got two independent local Jeep specialists in my sights. IMO small businesses are generally hungrier and more customer focused than these bloody awful corporate monsters.

Picked up the car yesterday morning after nearly 6 weeks without it. Drove it to work and then home in the afternoon which is over an hours trip and the car went well. The car has been reliable for 3 or 4 days while at the dealers also where it would have limped by now. Looks like the boost sensor was the issue after a lot of trial and error. The selector recall was done at the same time and I reckon its using more fuel but I will keep an eye on that, but its running really well....at the moment. Will test it out with the caravan when I get a bit of confidence back in it. Keeping everything crossed..There were a few codes that needed looking into and that took a bit of sorting until the culprit was found. Geez I hope its right now.
