Default Avoiding camp grounds with unruly behaviour

Nothing worse than driving all day and finally arriving at camp only to witness unrooly behaviour.

It happens to all of us at some point.

Check out the bit where campers ruin the peace with screaming (5:45).

Many camp sites that are within a couple of hours of major/capital cities have problems.
If you wish to ruin a campground, just talk about it on face book. The ferals will soon start using it.
There have been some great camp sites close in recent years because of feral behavior.
If a few campers call 000 it sometimes gets a response.
When they run out of fuel for their generator, the amplifier goes off. If the police are about, they normally get one for drink/drug driving when they try to go get fuel.
A visit from the CFA normally takes care of their bonfire. Always good to know the local CFA captain.

Does anyone have a favorite campground that they prefer not to disclose?

Describe it then.

I have one about 130km from home, it is actually in a small town at the top of a hill, surrounded by other rolling hills, a large well kept oval beside it with a modern pavillion clad with corrugated iron, always immaculate toilets (no shower facilities), cut green grass for my Oztent RV4, shady trees, a gas BBQ area.

Always a light gentle breeze on a 30 degree day. No water course nearby.

I usually see the same caravanner, but hardly anyone else. It is the best kept secret. About 30mins drive from a major centre. No 4WD needed thanks to a good blacktop road.

Not much wildlife, but horses nearby.

The ultimate place to completely chill out.

It's local council run, free, but you can leave a donation.

Okay, that is as far as I go in terms of a description.
