Fuel filter hose connector replacement

I know this is an old thread but does anyone have any more details of these clips. Part numbers etc? Also anyone know what a whole replacement housing is worth?

Go after market filter set up chris. You can make braided high pressure EFI lines with alloy fittings to suit

Going to take filter off tonight and have a look. Who does work like that? Pirtek?

If the clips are broken I might buy oem ones so my car is back on the road and then investigate a longer term solution

Turns out the drain on the bottom of the filter had snapped off. I have actually had this happen before when changing filter. I thought it looked pretty flimsy at time and went to the effect to purchase a bolt to fit. Fixed it quickly and relatively easily except for having to lie on the ground. Car still won't start, I am guessing there is still air in the lines after lots of time bleeding.

You fix it? If not give me a call in the morning, and ill give you the details of someone who can help you out in a braided line, I have had to make a few braided lines from the fuel filter to the high pressure pump. Rids the crappy plastic lines to a braided line (Make sure you use a line MADE for fuel, cheaper lines do not and static electrical movement from the fuel cause damage to the lines and starts fires)
