Yeah I really wanted it at the top so it's easy to get to. Didn't take much to modify just bent it some more down to 90* and ground the taper off the top of the knob. It looks like it's touching the header it the photo but it does miss and I don't have to crawl under the front to get to it. They make a low profile lever for them but their $50 Should get it wired in this weekend just waiting for a in/out carling switch to arrive.

So how have you found your shackle relocation brackets?

I'd say probably the single best mod I've done with regards to suspension especially combined with the boomerang shackles. The shackle angle helped soften up the rear and also gives me a ton of flex and more importantly gives me lots of droop to match the front. With the setup and spring rate I have now I'd be hard pressed to match it if I converted to coils so I'm pretty bloody happy. The only thing is it shortens the life of the springs being flattened so much! Mine are getting close to needing a reset and the jeep lean is getting pretty bad

I noticed in a few photos of google that the rear wheels seem offset slightly with these? Happen to you?

Also what height gain did you get from them?

Could you take some photos of them for me please mate.

Not sure what you mean by offset? Side to side or front to back? The axles defently square under my rig side to side. I'd really like to put some slightly longer leaves in and push the axle back an inch that's why I haven't cut any of the unused holes off that you can see in the pics plus my shackles tuck up pretty well and only just touch the bottom of the bracket at full bump. Sorry for the crappy pics it's all I could get late this arvo...

Hard to say the exact lift they give but it would be around an inch? The physical vertical drop of the bracket is more than that but you loose about half by laying the shackles back down to 45*.
Hope that helps jimmyb...

Thanks mate. I meant front to back alignment in the wheel well.

They do look good, and I think might be something to look at before Camp coffs. Looking at going up from 33's to 35's, and need an extra 1" of lift to clear tyres as I have tried to keep it as low as possible. Already running extended shackles so using these I would get the required lift easily without resetting the leaves. Front can just put coil spacers in.

Appreciate the photos!!

No worries mate, I found an old pic of the jeep with the rear done but still with factory wheel opening. My tires aren't that much smaller than my mates 35" goodyear mtr's when put side by side but I think it would be very close to rubbing on the lower front sill area if you don't have bushwackers or similar. Brian at H.D offroad is awesome to deal with and he really looked after me with the shipping cost too so I can't recommend him enough!

Certainly be good to see some more big tire XJ's around!
