You have the loop on the wrong way around, it's not a stinger but it's is cop bait

But then it won't look as aggressive

Finally got my subwoofer from previous cars installed in a temp fashion, so that I can have some real bass before properly going about redoing the system.

Also gave it a much needed wash!

Then jumped under it for a glance, found out the rattle I had was the nut on the FR endlink into the swaybar was loose so tightened it up.

Then realised the bump stops on the front were only about a centimetre from the contact point; this isn't right, right? I'm now wondering if this is why the ride is so harsh and jarring, even for a Wrangler...

Sorry about the cruddy pic!

That doesn't look like a stock jounce. Not enough room for up travel. I take it your vehicle is still at stock height?

Bought it with a spacer lift, about 2" on the back and more like 1.5" on the front due to bar and winch. Can't understand why it would have such massive bump stops unless the previous owners had other wheels/tyres on it?

Yeah definitely not stock bump stops. Stock are white and about half that length. I would say it may have been running shock extensions or longer shocks with the spacer lift and needed the longer bump stops. What shocks has it got?

Sent from a tiny keyboard with fat fingers, apologies for my spelling. .

Didn't remember seeing a brand on them, they were black and just looked like stock ones. It seems to have just a basic coil lift and nothing else (to my knowledge). They might've upgraded to a 3.6L JK and took all the good bits with them, swapped back on the OEM stuff but left on the old bump stops?

Anyone upgraded their front bump stops and want to get rid of their stock ones?
