Default TJ: Dan's finally getting rigged up

Ok so I have owned this car since new and really wanted to modify it since day one. But I have a race bike that I have been opening the wallet for the past 2 years.
I just brought a 2.5inch OME lift from Terror TJ, getting it put in on Tuesday.
I have a set of 15 x 8 rims that I am hoping to wrap in 31’s or 32’s, (opinions please brand specific)
I also have been looking at hanson front bars, a winch and a 1inch body lift wider flares and hopefully locking the diffs.
I guess the reason I am posting this is to get some ideas form your guys who have actually done these mods, I have no clue in what order to do them, as money is an issue nowadays for me, I am hoping to have the car fully set up by the end of the year.
But hoping that it doesn’t see much time off the road, as I would like to get out and about in it while im building it.
Pics to come after the lift?
Cheers
Dan

Bang the lift in.
Get some 32s
(If worried about flare width but don't have the cash, just buy some rubber from Clarke Rubber to tied you over till you can afford some wider flares)
*/Wheel the snot out of it/*
Bang a 1" BL and 1" Motor mount lift in it
*/Wheel the snot out of it/*
Realise that you really need lockers, so get lockers and gears (let the debate start as to what ratio )
*/Wheel the snot out of it/*
Realise that now with lockers that you want to do even harder trails, so protection is an issue.
Forget the front bar and winch and get some nice Rock sliders to fend off the shopping trollies and a Fuel tank skid.
*/Wheel the snot out of it even harder/*
Santa brings you a nice set of Flares for Christmas
*/Wheel the snot out of it/*

New years day you realise that you want 35's

thanks ando, some great tips in there.
I will hopefully be getting some tread in the next couple of weeks anyone recomend good places in melbourne to buy from.
I have spoken to a few tyre places but no one seams to deal specific with mud tyres.
I am after an aggressive tyre that is mainly mud witha bit of rock crawling.
I have a budget of $1000, and would like 32's but if there is a nice 31 i would not discount it.
anyone have any ideas?
thanks again
can't wait to get out there

Good to hear the lift arrived. Its a nice kit and a big improvement on the stock setup. Part of me wishes I stuck with it cause of the difference in the handling of the new lift. Anyway will sort it out later.

If you are wanting the 31's the ome lift will hangdle that no probs.

32/33's and a 1" BL would be good and maybe a motor mount lift so you can keep the transfer case up and not have to drop it.

A SYE and D/s would be a good investment cause I had a few vibes on take off running that kit. But you could save that till later if the funds are not there.

Wider flares are a good idea to keep the cops off your back for having the tyres sticking out.

I wouldn't do lockers unless you are sure you are never going to go larger (ie 33's/35's) cause you will want to regear it at some stage and then you will need to do it again.

As you can see it starts to add up quickly. The only way it will ever stop for me is if I sell the car.

thanks terror,
Kit goes in tuesday.
Getting a few prices for the bighorns but struggling to find dealers who sell them. I am finding everyone wants to flog the claws, are they that good over the rest of the pack?
