When FC will put it in writing to me this is the final permanent fix I will take the vehicle in.When you take in klms to and from dealers ,time off, fuel, wear and tear etc it is not free.!!! Three cancelled trips away. The last patch in May was meant to fix it,the actuators were meant to fix it FC rep told me so!!!Has anybody been notified officially by their dealers yet of this new fix.?I have only got Quadra Trac 11 so I need low range working.
I have a new hearing date on 11th August because FC didnt turn up last Tuesday.Tribunal judge was not impressed.

I haven't been advised of this new fix and the Bulletin clearly states that it applies to vehicles that have had Recall N23 performed. I THINK THAT'S ENOUGH TO IMPLY THAT IT'S ANOTHER RECALL. In which case I believe that they have a duty of care to contact customers who had the recall performed and get them back in.

I'll be seeing my dealer next week but I'm not initially going to let on I know about this Bulletin....be interesting if they are open and honest.

Another Us Jeep forum owner had the new software update done two days ago failed yesterday. Thats about 3 in 10 days.!!!Says it all really. What makes this debacle even worse is that dealers here and in US are still doing the N23 recall knowing full well of the consequence.!!!

Hmm. I just took my commander out for a quick wheel and got the "Service 4WD System" message, but still had low range. The 4WD Low and Traction Control lights still showed and my low range worked as per normal. Confirmed it's still working when I got home, but the warning message won't go away. Anyone else had this?

I haven't had the N23 recall done, but I recently had my turbo replaced and I fear they may have done the reflash at the same time.

I had that warning 2-3 years ago it ended up putting the Jeep into limb mode.
New TCM and transfer case motor was the fix mine required but believe it could be heaps of things.

Suggest you give it a week and if it is still there get it scanned for codes and go from there.
