Default Hard top to B Pillar mounting
Hey all,

Wondering if someone could get a pic of the underside on the B pillar where the hardtop mounts. I noticed the other night that I can lift my roof clear of the b pillar. Seems that the last time the dealership worked on my car - for a hardtop leak that something may have been removed as the bolts now just float in the holes, there does not seem to be anything for them to tighten into.

I’m curious to see how they actually do mount.

From what I remember, there is a welded-in nut inside of the b-pillar/doorframe that you can see from the inside.

That’s what thought but I don’t see that from underneath I just see the bolt and can move it freely in the hole.

Do you think the thing it bolts to is removable like a plate of some sort?
