I have been a Jeep (JK) owner since Sep 2011, but only just got around to getting time to register on the site.
I ordered my Cosmos Blue JK (colour sight unseen) with most of the trimmings for a sports model in Apr 11 and drove it out of the dealership at the start of Sep.
It has just clocked up 55,000 km in its short life but a lot of that was travelling between Melbourne and Canberra on a regular basis for the final 4 months of 2011.

I bought my 2009 JK 2 door petrol mid 2012 after learning heaps from all your posts and would like to say thanks for all the info.
Since then myJK has started it's transformation into the Jeep it was meant to be. Mods so far:
2inch lift
ARB front bar
33 inch Cooper STT's
UHF
9.5t T max winch
The lift and bar came from Gary and the boys at Westside 4x4 who have been excellent.
I have owned a number of 4wd's and still have an 80 series Landcruiser for hauling the family and camper trailer. TheJK is easily the most addictive and fun vehicle i have ever owned!

No mods yet but want a locking diff or some sort for the rear at least.
also on the wish list ,lift kit ,bull bar winch MT tires snorkel.
Just put a deposit on 2013 JK. Have visitied CRDSTU and arranged a bunch of mods pre-delivery: 2.5" lift, Bull Bar, rear bar with tow, snorkel, tyres. Already saving for my next round of mods.
Met up with buzzcutter off here. Great guy and helpful. Looking forward to meeting more Jeepers.
