You just gotta love those 1mm cutting discs! I use them for just about everything now, trimming guards, cutting RHS and plate, and they're great for PVC and copper pipe too. And the grinder is just a little 4 1/2" Bosch.
If I'm doing heavy work I prefer a bigger grinder (9") - just for the sake of portability if nothing else. The trick with these is to get one that is not overly powerful. We all like big grunty motors, but a big grinder with, say, a 900W motor can jam a blade so hard you will have to take it out with a hammer and chisel. So I just use a cheap GMC with a 450W motor, take my time and the blade doesn't jam. I've come close to breaking my wrist too many times.
