Default CJ6 newbe

Hey y'all,
Just got my 1st Jeep to rebuild and jumped on to the net to see what l could see, and low and behold, l have found this wonderfull forum.
l have a 1964 CJ6 that has the orginal drive line in very good running order (bit slow, but hey, 134cubic inches of 4cyl F head was never what you would call a powerhouse)
The body is very sad, but hope to be able to rebuild it
l have had a few other types of 4wd's but have always wanted a Jeep
but have been waitning for the right one to come along
l live in beatuiful far north Queensland and not having a roof can be a good thing for the winter
lf anyone has any idea's or advice would be gratfully appreciated

Welcome CJ6

Most of the guys with CJ's hang out in the early jeep section

it is pretty slow there but if u ask a question there almost always is someone who will try to help or point you to a shop that might be able to help

I didnt relise they had the F head in a CJ 6 right into the 60's wow thats interesting. Thats the thing about old Jeeps there was so many combinations that there is always a few you havent seen before.

Most 60's CJ6's I have seen have been 242 6cyl or the ford 6 but come to think of it they were a bit latter than yours
