Default MS-10838 Hydraulic System Power Steering Fluid

Just a caution to WJ/WG (with hydraulic fan) owners who plan to purchase MS-10838 'Hydraulic System Power Steering Fluid' through Jeep in Australia as a replacement for MS-5931 which has been out of production for quite some time.

MS-10838 appears to be dropped from inventory here in Australia.

My old part number: 05142893AA (taken from my last bottle purchased a few years ago in Aus through a dealer)
Possible new part number: 68234631GB (Mopar International part number replacing 68234631GA).

There is no stock showing in Sydney but there is some in other regions. It is still available overseas.

Dealer part searches against your VIN will possibly bring up an empty result for compatible power steering fluid and as has happened to me, your indie mechanic may even be directed to use ATF+4 (mine was after a steering box replacement) which is not compatible with our hydraulic fan setup.

As I needed mine in a hurry I'm flushing and reverting to MS-5931 compliant Penrite PAS fluid which is unfortunately a bit more expensive.

Hopefully a week of ATF+4 in the system hasn't killed anything.

I can confirm that A6110780149 is the correct partnumber for rail hp valve.

Rear transmission mount:
See http://www.ausjeepoffroad.com/forum/...d.php?t=150310

Apparently it is the same as MERCEDES E200 S211 1.8 Engine Mount Front Left or Right 03 to 09, except you'll need to grind off a tab.

MERCEDES-BENZ 203 240 19 17 2032401917

Kudos to "Tpap" for the find.

Radiator hoses for WG 2.7 CRD
http://www.mackayrubber.com.au/conte...alogue-search/
Upper radiator hose: 52079981AB/CH2330
Lower radiator hose: CH6164

OEM hoses can be ordered through an Australian Jeep Specialist (Jeep City, USA 4x4, etc) or online from Europe.

Alternatively, you can buy 38mm ID reels of hose and use the "uncoil solution"

Engine mounts:
You can buy Eagle BHP 1116R from Amazon or Ebay at a good price - around $30 a pair. These are the rubber inserts. I got mine pressed in at the local Fulcrum for $40 the pair.

Edit: Three years later and they're shagged. I don't recommend them. I am installing FEBEST CRMB-GRCHF.

Air filter:
I was finding it harder to buy Mann+Hummel air filters at sensible prices.
It appears that the Wix 46213 might be a Mann+Hummel in disguise. Available at multiple outlets (including RockAuto) at good prices.
